Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available on or through BiqBlog infringes one or more of your copyrights, please submit a notification containing the following information to our designated copyright agent:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  3. A description of the material that you claim is infringing and its location on our Site (please provide the specific URL).
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Response to DMCA Notices

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notification, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material within a reasonable timeframe
  • Notify the content provider, member, or user that the material has been removed or disabled
  • Provide the content provider with information about the DMCA counter-notification process

Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you posted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated copyright agent containing the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its former location on the Site.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, along with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in the United Arab Emirates.

Repeat Infringers

BiqBlog maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users and account holders who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
